With 19 years of work experience, Gerald had been exposed to many different roles before taking on the mantle at Glico. A business management graduate with an MBA, Gerald chose to pursue a role with Glico partially because of his love for Japan and his fondness for Glico products, which he says are always top in quality and taste.
Blazing the path for Glico Philippines
As the Sales General Manager, Gerald's primary duties are to fast-track the growth of Glico's business in Philippines. Since Glico just entered the Philippine market, Gerald's core priority is to focus and establish sales fundamentals, including distribution, visibility and trade promotions.
For Gerald and his team, the goal is to lead Glico's business growth as much as he can within the foreseeable future.

To achieve their company goal of getting "buy-ins", or commitments from distributors in the Philippines, Gerald believes that have a clear roadmap and vision is crucial.
