Glico wanted to make a product that can be eaten in one bite, something that was not found in chilled confectionery. This idea led to the creation of this round, popping ice cream.

Candy Ball Aisu no Mi Renamed to Aisu no Mi
The first renamed product was released simultaneously in two different flavors.

2001
Changed to Only Fruit Flavors
Based on the concept of refreshingly cold fruit ice cream, the container was changed to an easy-to-carry vertical shape.

Fun and Functional Two-way Opening Pouch Container
Equipped with a convenient two-way opening, the small opening allows customers to eat the ice cream balls without touching them, and the wide opening allows customers to take out a lot all at once.

Aiming to increase demand for ice cream during colder months, limited-edition adult-oriented products were launched for three main brands of ice cream (Aisu no Mi, Giant Cone, and Papico).
Aisu no Mi made from Belgian chocolate, Hokkaido cream, and microparticulation cocoa using proprietary technology. It has a smooth and bitter adult taste.
